Nathan's Birthday

Here are some pictures from Nathan's birthday cake. Of course it is a Duncan Hines yellow cake with Duncan Hines icing. Nothing homemade =) It's what he likes! I had to make it exciting by decorating it for him! 

Sophia's Birthday

Sophia had her 1st Birthday in April. I must confess I didn't want to post these pictures because her cake totally bombed. We were extremely busy that week, it was getting hot in my kitchen, and the cake store was out of fondant. Her cake totally fell apart and I had to use icing to piece it back together. It tasted yummy, but was not what I had planned. Oh well.... better luck next year!

Even's 1st Birthday!

This is extremely late, but Sophia's best friend, Even, had her first birthday in January of this year! The theme was lion's and this was the cake I made for her birthday!

A few Creations

Allyson is doing an amazing job on the decorated cakes/cup cakes for the summer! I however have not attempted any decorating for the summer. My kitchen runs about 81-85 during the day, and above 90 when I am baking. Most of my cakes are falling apart or having trouble rising. I have only made a few new recipes for the summer. Nothing decorated, just some yummy desserts! Enjoy!
