Happy Birthday to Me

This past April I baked myself a pink flower birthday cake. Our friends Tom and Karina came over to celebrate and eat cake and ice cream. Then I had the best birthday present, Allyson and Matt came to visit!!! What a wonderful birthday!

On a side note, Allyson is my inspiration for the name "LA Sweets." A few months after moving to New York, I had a dream that we moved to Birmingham and Allyson and I opened a bakery named "LA Sweets" for Lesley and Allyson's sweets! The name has stuck with me and whether I ever move to Birmingham, maybe one day I can open my own shop. =)
