Strawberry basketweave

This cake was one of my favorites to do, if only because of the chocolate covered strawberries. yum. I made this for my sister in law's 30th birthday. And it was my first disaster where I had to completely start over. I wanted it to have a strawberry filling, so I looked up the recipe, followed all directions, and it failed miserably. It was too runny for the cake and I had to watch as the cake just toppled over and caved in. I used a different filling the second time, which I will not use again because it leaked out through a LOT of icing, but live and learn. It tasted good.
